Effective July 1st, 2026
As part of our ongoing efforts to streamline operations and maintain consistency across all new home build submissions, we are transitioning to a single submission method.
Beginning July 1, 2026, all new home building applications must be submitted through our online portal. We will no longer accept new home build submissions via email or paper.
This change is intended to create a uniform process for all builders, improve tracking and communication, reduce processing delays, and ensure that all required information is received accurately and efficiently.
Please review your internal procedures and ensure that all team members responsible for submitting new home build applications are prepared to use the portal before the July 1 effective date.
Important: Any new home build application submitted by email or paper on or after July 1, 2026, will not be processed and will be returned with instructions to resubmit through the portal.
We appreciate your cooperation as we implement this process improvement. If you have questions or require assistance with portal access, please contact our office prior to July 1.

Information/Document Center
- All applications for building requests - MUST have a Zoning Permit, Health Department Approval and Floodplain Determination. A Sanitary Sewer Review is needed when work is being done around Indian Lake.
- Inspections MUST be scheduled by calling the office at 937-592-7473. (Emailed Inspection requests will NOT be processed)
- Inspection times are Monday – Friday, from 8:00am - 3:00 pm
- We require at least a 24-hour notice for all inspections
- A time preference will be given consideration for concrete pours only
- Inspections need to be called in by 2:30pm for next day inspections
